Safety scanners and cameras provide an effective way of detecting human workers in a robot cell. This enables human workers and robots to work safely together during collaborative tasks such as assembly. During this training we will cover how to install, locate, connect and configure safety scanners and cameras.
Training is divided into four main topics: 1) Introduction to safety cameras and scanners
2) Physical location and installation of device
3) Connecting device to robot controller
4) Configuration of safety areas
By the end of this training participant will gain basic knowledge of safety scanners and cameras. Participants will also gain expertise to select, install and configure safety scanners and camera. Training material for this module consists of instructional videos and technical documentations. Material is suitable for self-learning.
