Enhance your expertise in advanced materials and sustainable structures with the Digital Twins course, an advanced program designed for students, postgraduates, and educators in materials science, mechanical engineering, and related fields. Participants will learn to utilize digital twins to develop cutting-edge materials and environmentally responsible infrastructure. Delivered in English, the 15-hour online course is self-paced. A background in AI, machine learning, physics of continuous media, materials science, and mechanics of materials is recommended. Led by Dr. Oleksii Milenin, a leading researcher at the E.O. Paton Institute and an expert in mathematical methods for welding processes, the course covers key concepts like the Materials 4.0 framework, principles of sustainable design, and the role of digital twins in industrial revolutions. Participants will also gain practical insights into implementing digital twin components for advanced material development. The course is free of charge, and participants who complete the program and assessments will receive a certificate with 0.5 ECTS credits. As part of the BOOSTalent project, this course supports innovation and sustainability through interdisciplinary education and collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
